Temecula Valley Bank celebrates 10 years of service

TEMECULA — Temecula Valley Bank is celebrating! The bank kicked off its 10-year anniversary with the introduction of their new logo: blue skies above – green earth beneath – and a growing, changing horizon that reflects the mountains and valleys of their Temecula Valley heritage.

The bank is celebrating its anniversary all year long at each of its 10 locations throughout Southern California. On the tenth of each month, the bank offers visiting customers refreshments; they decorate the offices and have prizes for some lucky patrons.

“We are very proud of our success,” said Stephen H. Wacknitz, chairman, president and CEO. “Our strategic focus continues to be on our core business lines: traditional banking, construction/real estate-based lending and our SBA lending program.”

In the past year alone Temecula Valley Bank has achieved such honors as:

• Ranking as an All Star Top 20 Bank

• Being recognized as the Top Performing Community Bank in the United States

• Ranking number one again on the US Banker Top 100 List

• Receiving the Five Year Stock Appreciation Award from Carpenter & Company

• Being recognized nationally as top-performing small cap company on Sandler O’Neill’s Sm-All Star List

The list of achievements goes on for Temecula Valley Bank.

During 2006, the bank began implementing systems to extend their capabilities to better serve their customers. These additions include:

• Online banking and bill payment

• Online wire transfers

• ACH origination

• Tax payments

• Remote deposit capture

• Image services

• Lockbox

• Cash concentration – ZBA accounts

• Payroll services

• Merchant Services

Temecula Valley Bank strives to serve not only its customers but also the community. They contribute through donations and volunteerism to local nonprofit organizations such as Boys & Girls Club, Habitat for Humanity, community service clubs, PTA councils, chambers of commerce and a variety of youth and school athletic programs. Bank employees are encouraged to be involved in community actives and organization.

As Wacknitz looks to the future of Temecula Valley Bank, he says, “In keeping with our history of building on our strengths, we are looking forward to the challenges of 2007 and beyond. We are committed to building upon our 10 years of solid experience and remain confident in our ability to produce safe and sound financial performance into our next decade while providing our communities with quality banking services. The success of Temecula Valley Bank would not be possible without the support of our local communities.”

In addition to other locations, Temecula Valley Bank has full-service banking offices in Temecula (main office), Murrieta and Fallbrook. The Fallbrook office can be reached at (760) 728-7880; call 1-800-939-3736 to reach the Temecula branch.
