Fallbrook Alumni assist FHS seniors, Historical Society

Thank you to all the Fallbrook alumni and donors whose memberships and contributions have made it possible for the Fallbrook Alumni Association to give back to their alma mater. Due to their generosity, the association was able to give four $500 scholarships to deserving Fallbrook High School seniors in June.

The Patricia Klaviter Grevatt Memorial Scholarship was given to Juanita Huerta as she pursues a degree in elementary education. Emily Holzer received a scholarship in fine arts and James Toomey received his award for pursuing a career in a technical or trade school. Alison Logue was the first-ever recipient of the Alumni Warrior Spirit Award.

The Fallbrook Alumni Association members are proud to carry on this tradition of assisting our newest alumni. It is hoped that these newly graduated seniors will want to continue the tradition by becoming members. Any person who has attended or graduated from Fallbrook High School is welcome to join. Memberships ($15 per year) and/or donations can be sent to: Fallbrook Alumni Association, Inc., PO Box 596, Fallbrook, CA 92088.

In addition to the scholarships, the Alumni Association has always been a supporter of the Fallbrook Historical Society. This year the alumni were able to make a $500 donation to the Historical Society to go toward the completion of their barn. The barn will house memorabilia that is treasured by those who have lived in and loved the community of Fallbrook.
