Barn Sale expanded to two days

Fallbrook residents have clearly demonstrated how much they value the history of our town, because donations to the Historical Society for the big barn sale have been so generous the sale has been expanded to two days – this Saturday and Sunday, July 28 and 29.

“The generosity of the community is unbelievable,” said Bev McDougal. “Donations have included two pickup trucks, tractors and all kinds of really interesting items.” McDougal said the large number of donations has filled the barn to overflowing and extra items have had to be placed in other areas on the grounds awaiting the sale.

Early shoppers on Saturday can also take advantage of a great Pancake Breakfast that will be offered at the event by the North County Fire Explorers from 7 to 10 a.m. Pancakes will be served with sausage, juice and/or coffee.

The Old Fashioned Barn Sale will begin at 8 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday at 260 Rockycrest Drive, Fallbrook. Proceeds from the sale benefit the Historical Society in order to finish the inside of the new barn that has been constructed at the site.

“We are so grateful for the way the citizens of Fallbrook have stepped up in support of this event,” McDougal said. “We look forward to a great day and sale.”
