Grateful for Rhonda Reinke

We at Brandon Gallery would like to express our deep appreciation for Rhonda, Fallbrook’s Honorary Mayor, for the many hours she has spent helping us with our Art of the Chair fundraiser.

At first, we asked her for a few ideas. Rhonda, being the loving, generous-hearted person she is, though, jumped in with both feet and has worked tirelessly to help make our project a success. She has helped us get a fabulous honorary chairperson, Ms. Arlyne Ingold, attended countless meetings, given fabulous ideas, worked with her many contacts, sought sponsors for us, talked to merchants and much, much more. She and her husband, retired Major General Claude Reinke, have even become large money sponsors for our event.

As she goes with us to talk to the merchants and their customers, she is the picture of graciousness and concern for all. As she works with our committee, she is bright, tactful and always loving. Many of you have seen what a beautiful person she is, inside as well as out! She makes each person she talks with feel important and valued.

Rhonda has also agreed to be Mistress of Ceremonies for our event and will co-auction our fine art chairs with auctioneer Bob Tavano. The chairs she is helping us work on will be displayed in store windows through noon on September 13. You may vote for your favorite and also play a “Where’s This Chair?” game to vie for large prizes.

The silent auction will be in the Village Square on September 15 and the live auction and reception at the Brandon Gallery at 5:30. Come join us in honoring and thanking Rhonda for all she has done for us and for so many others here in Fallbrook. She will be missed as mayor, but we know she will continue to do meaningful things throughout the community.

She has tirelessly worked on our project and we know she has done this many times over for many others also. Thank you, Rhonda! You are terrific! We love you!
