Runners and walkers welcome to join club

The Running and Walking Club meets every Saturday morning at 7:30 in the parking lot behind Fallbrook Library and enjoys light refreshments afterward. They have adopted the library parking lot for trash cleanup, which they now do after the workout.

The starting time and location for the Sunday morning workout has been changed permanently to 6:45 a.m. at Sandia Creek Park. (Take De Luz/Pico Road from East Mission for about two miles. At the bottom of the hill turn right on Sandia Creek Road. Go about one mile to the Sandia Creek parking lot on the righthand side just before crossing Sandia Creek.) Walkers will enjoy the shaded hiking trial. Participants also clean up trash at this location.

Wednesday workouts continue at Los Jilgueros Preserve, located just north of the high school on South Mission. The club meets at 6 p.m. in the preserve parking lot.
