Ragland exhibits painting in support of Santa Margarita River

FALLBROOK — “The Santa Margarita River: The Last Free-Flowing River in Southern California,” a painting by local artist Jack Ragland, is now on display in the entrance to the Fallbrook Public Library. Ragland is donating the work to the cause of opposing the Granite Construction Company’s proposed Liberty Quarry; the piece will be auctioned off to the highest bidder in the course of a Political Action Committee event scheduled for early this fall.

Ragland’s painting will be exhibited at the library through August 15, at a prominent location in Temecula August 16-September 9 and at The Art Center at Fallbrook September 9-24 in conjunction with “Art of the Equine.”
