McGruff investigates identity theft at library - While children learn about fingerprints

At Fallbrook Library on August 2, well-known crimefighter McGruff discovers his imposter, who posed for a photo in the 7/26/07 issue of the Village News. The culprit is actually the mascot for the library’s summer reading program, “Get a Clue @ Your Library.”

After a presentation on the art of fingerprinting, Randi Davison (left), Makenna Lang (center) and Sebastian Nider experiment with ink and paper to make their own prints.

Randi Davison concentrates on applying dusting powder to her fingerprints.
