Fallbrook Visitors Bureau launches Founders Circle

On August 14 the Fallbrook Area Visitors Bureau (FAVB) kicked off their Founders Circle membership drive with a check presentation from FAVB board members Vince Ross and Don McDougal. Accepting the two $5,000 checks on behalf of the FAVB was Founders Circle Chairwoman Dee Nusser.

Founders Circle memberships will support the FAVB’s mission to promote and support tourism in the greater Fallbrook area through numerous cultural and economic development activities. Each Founders Circle member will receive special membership benefits and his or her name will become a permanent part of the Founders Circle Giving Tree sculpture being created by local artist Wendell Perry.

With the kickoff meeting complete, Founders Circle committee members Dee Nusser, Don McDougal, Julie Reeder and Vince Ross will begin contacting selected businesses and individuals to explain the membership program and benefits.

“The Founders Circle is an essential component of our strategic plan,” explained Executive Director Linda Kissam. “This is a grassroots effort to ensure that this organization has the seed money it needs to develop programs that promote tourism and economic vitality for the greater Fallbrook area. We want to include the entire community in our membership program, so we also offer four other membership levels. Memberships begin at $100 and go up from there, depending on the benefits the business or individual is looking for.”

Anyone interested in more information on a Founders Circle membership can call Dee Nusser at (760) 728-4555. All other membership inquires should be directed to the FAVB at (760) 451-3282.
