Boxing offered to local youth

Members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of North County were recently given an opportunity to work out at Jorge’s Boxing Gym (322 North Main) to learn what the sport is all about. Owner/boxer Jorge Porras teaches kids the art of boxing, focusing on building strong muscles and self-esteem.

The club recently honored boxers who won championship belts in their weight classes at a tournament in Coachella.
