Alumni supply backpacks for students in need

Members of the Fallbrook Alumni Association (FAA) recently delivered 75 backpacks filled and ready for the first day of the 2007 Fallbrook High School academic year after stuffing them at their alumni picnic at Live Oak Park on August 5.

Thanks to the FAA “Backpack Buddy” program, supported by the generosity of Fallbrook High alumni and caring members of the community, these backpacks will be available at the high school for students in need as they begin the school year. Initiated in 2003, the program has become an annual key project for the FAA.
