Cheri Mundell and Cheryl Pizzo: a dynamic duo

Cheri Mundell and Cheryl Pizzo are a sensational real estate team at Coldwell Banker Landmark Group. They have earned this reputation by being presented with a myriad of awards at both local and national levels.

On countless occasions, they have consistently been the Top Producing Team and Top Selling Team. Every year, they have earned a President’s Elite/Chairman’s Circle award, placing them at the top two to three percent of all Coldwell Banker agents worldwide.

In spite of these prestigious accolades, their most cherished honor has been their Customer Service Award. Though bestowed with the coveted award time and time again, it never fails to humble this dynamic duo. “It is the customer’s satisfaction that we seek,” said Mundell.

Mundell has been a licensed agent for 30 years, while Pizzo has just reached her 24-year mark. They explain that their partnership was something that evolved on its own. “We didn’t plan it. We just started having each other cover for one another,” shared Mundell. There is no official contract, but rather, a team built on a foundation of impeccable work ethic, respect and trust. As the years unfolded, they formed a full-time partnership that has lasted 24 years.

This team concept has been a huge draw to many of their clients. Pillars of customer opinion surveys repeatedly praise this powerful team, voicing how well they work together. For instance, if one of them is unavailable, the other will immediately cover. “We can easily step in and take over without any lapse of service,” said Pizzo. Additionally expressed within these surveys, customers have been amazed and grateful for the great service and genuine care received.

“We are twice the ideas, twice the attention, twice the time and twice the knowledge,” said Mundell. “[Clients] are getting two agents for the price of one.”

The women also pride themselves in having specialties in all areas of real estate. Mundell and Pizzo are proficient in land, ranches, groves, homes and commercial properties. No transaction is too small or too large for this pair; as Pizzo says, “We sell from cottages to castles.”

This is the third time in their careers that both Mundell and Pizzo have been in the sluggish real estate market. Because of this, they have immense expertise in how to sell and list properties when times are rough, especially in reference to short and distressed sales. They also work with a local trust attorney regarding estate issues, often dealing with the court system.

“We really go above and beyond, especially with clients who are out of town. We make all the calls and we make all the appointments,” added Pizzo. They take the burden off the shoulders of their clientele and do the footwork for them. This exceptional involvement also includes being present at a property during an inspection and/or tests, or even unlocking a door for a worker.

“We have a pride of our presence during a transaction,” said Mundell.
