Fallbrook 4-H looking for members

Have you ever wanted to raise an animal, help out our community or even learn more about plants? At 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4, Fallbrook 4-H will be having its first information and registration meeting of the season in the Fallbrook High School cafeteria.

4-H is a national organization founded in 1902 to help youth learn more about animals, agriculture, citizenship, leadership and many other various skills. Ages 5 to 19 can join.

There are many projects offered this year, including community pride, cooking, dairy heifers, dairy goats, floriculture, poultry, pygmy goats, quilting, small animals and numerous market animal projects. Don’t be shy… come and find out what 4-H is all about! Fallbrook 4-H is a great place for kids to learn and have fun.

Community meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. For more information call Patrick Rogers at (760) 728-4235.

Fallbrook 4-H wants to grow this year, so make sure to tell your friends!
