Performers wanted for Grange Talent Contest

Talented people of all ages are welcome to enter Rainbow Valley Grange’s Talent Contest on Saturday, September 8, at 6 p.m. Open to groups and individuals, there will be two age categories: 14 and under and 15 and over. Cash prizes for winners are guaranteed to be at least $100 for first place, $50 for second place and $25 for third place.

While there will be no admission charge to watch the talent contest, guests will be asked to donate to the prize kitty during the show. Those donations will be divided among the winners. Refreshments will be on sale during the evening.

As no other Granges in the southern region are holding a talent show, the first place winners at this contest will be able to move on to the California State Grange Contest if they are or become Grange members. The State Contest will be held in Sacramento on October 13.
