Moonlight Stage Productions presents 'Little Shop of Horrors'

VISTA — “Little Shop of Horrors” comes to the Moonlight Amphitheatre as the final show in Moonlight Stage Productions’ 2007 Summer Season of Musicals. This quirky pop/rock musical takes its audience back to the “Doo-Wop” fun of the 1960s, featuring a man-eating plant called Audrey II, which grows to gargantuan proportions and sings with a soulful bass voice.

“Little Shop of Horrors” runs September 5 through 16 and will be performed at the Moonlight Amphitheatre, located in Vista’s Brengle Terrace Park at 1200 Vale Terrace Drive. The show has a curtain time of 7:30 p.m.

Performances of “Little Shop of Horrors” run Wednesdays through Sundays at 7:30 p.m. Amphitheatre seating begins at 6 p.m. for pre-show picnics and Moonlight provides all lawn chairs used in the amphitheatre, since personal lawn chairs are not permitted. Blankets, sweaters and jackets are encouraged for cool summer evenings.

The concessionaire, Feliccia’s at the Moonlight, is open before the show for dinners on the patio. For dinner reservations, call (760) 758-9167 at least one day in advance. The Moonlight Amphitheatre is a smoke-free venue.

Tickets are on sale now at the VisTix Ticket Office, located at 651 East Vista Way, by calling (760) 724- 2110 or going online to http://www.vistixonline.com. For more information about Moonlight Stage Productions see http://www.moonlightstage.com.
