Camera Club meeting features wildlife photographer

The Fallbrook Camera Club’s September 17 meeting will feature guest speaker Ron Garrison presenting his photography program “Dolphin Rescue after Hurricane Katrina.” These dramatic stories are being made into a book from photographs he and others took documenting the events.

Garrison’s travel and wildlife photography has been published in national and international magazines such as Time, Life, National Geographic, Sunset and World. He had a long career working for the Zoological Society in San Diego. He began working there in 1964 and retired in 2002.

By working with the Dolphin Quest Organization and the Embrey Institute for Wildlife Conservation, Garrison continues his interest in dolphins and other animals. A visit to his Web site, http://www.RonaldGarrison.com, will provide a tour of his excellent photography and world of interest.

All are welcome to attend this unique program. It will be held at the Community Room, Silvergate Retirement Residence, 420 Elbrook Drive.
