Hospital offers free prostate screening

Free prostate screening will be offered on Saturday, September 22, from 7 to 10 a.m. by Fallbrook Hospital in cooperation with the Fallbrook Healthcare District.

Digital and PSA (prostate-specific antigen) screening is recommended annually for men over the age of 50 and over 40 for those with a family history of prostate cancer.

Appointments are necessary and can be made by calling (760) 731-8433. Fallbrook Hospital is located at 624 East Elder Street.
