Lorene Johnson: proud to be part of the Willis Allen team

Lorene Johnson, a local realtor for the past 29 years, has continually been attracted to working for a smaller, more intimate office. This is why she is thoroughly pleased to be working in the family-oriented ambience at Willis Allen Real Estate.

“It’s a great company,” said Johnson.

Johnson is delighted with the fact that other seasoned agents at her Willis Allen office know the Fallbrook and Bonsall area. “<Agents> really have to know the land out here,” she shared. “That knowledge is so important.”

Real estate issues apropos of easements, land improvements and roads are merely the highlights of the property wisdom one must acquire. Every property in Fallbrook and Bonsall is different, a collection of its own nuances.

At the Willis Allen office in Fallbrook, Johnson is both content and reassured knowing that if she were ever to be out of a client’s reach, one of her coworkers would step in without pause and help out. This variety of trust and teamwork is rare and enormously appreciated by Johnson.

Years ago, when Johnson was a new agent, she recalled how buyers were in a constant search of avocado groves. “Things have changed,” she said.

Johnson is considerably comfortable in land and agriculture transactions. This stems from her involvement in her father’s grove businesses, in which Johnson oversaw all aspects of the operations. “I learned so much.”

This hands-on experience has helped clients who have been interested in purchasing and/or selling groves and agriculture properties. “I can talk the talk,” said Johnson, laughing.

Johnson and her husband used to have their own avocado grove years ago but switched seven acres of it to plant and harvest their ornamental flowers. Baby Blue and Silver Dollar eucalyptus are grown at their flower farm.

“You see these types of flowers in bouquets,” explained Johnson, who also pitches in at times with some of the planting.

Comfortable dealing with land and grove properties, Johnson also wholeheartedly enjoys residential transactions. She voiced how much she admires the homes in Fallbrook, simply because the town holds such a special place for her: “It has that small town feeling that so many people are looking for.”

Johnson is well known for offering her clients superior care and personalized service. She is an agent who remains involved through every stage of a transaction. “I care about my clients and am always here to advise them.”

While the real estate market remains in a sluggish state, Johnson offers a sound piece of advice to sellers: “Just hang on. We’ll get through this; we’ve been through this before.”

Johnson cited another special facet Willis Allen offers: the incredible aptness and ability for widespread exposure with its listings. The company’s marketing expertise is top-notch, giving their clientele an extra boost in service.

Johnson remains thrilled to be a part of the Willis Allen Real Estate Team. “We have so much to offer a client and [the client] will always get great customer care,” she stated.
