We are looking for a member of our family

Topper, a sorrel quarter horse gelding, came into our lives when our daughter was just 3 years old. He was the joy of her life. She probably spent years on his back learning to ride and doing all the fun things a young girl and her horse do as they grow up.

When she went off to college out of state, it made sense to look for a home where he could be ridden and loved by another young person. A trainer friend of ours found a home with a handicapped child, so we placed Topper there with the understanding that if they ever did not want him anymore, they would call.

Our daughter has been asking about him all of this time, but unfortunately, he was sold. Now she is out of college and we are still trying to locate him. We were told he went to the Temecula area about a year and a half ago.

Topper is now in his mid-20s, about 14.3 hands high, has a “W” brand on his left hip, a “P” on his left buttock and an “E” on his right buttock. We are desperately looking for him. We owned him for many, many years – for most of his life.

If anyone out there has any information on Topper, please call us, even if it only means we can come see him just one more time.

Please help us. We can be reached at (702) 378-0147.
