Collision briefly closes Highway 76

The front wheel and handlebars of a westbound motorcycle that drifted out of its lane and collided head-on with a sedan lies on Highway 76 on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007. The rider, who was not wearing a helmet, was air lifted to Palomar Hospital with major head trauma.
