Assistance requested for FUHS floats

Preparations for the 2007 Fallbrook Union High School Homecoming float competition have begun and class officers are busy organizing students and parents for the October 5 ceremony.

Class of 2008

Students are currently building their float at the North County Fire station in the heart of Fallbrook. This year’s seniors are pumped and ready to take the title.

Donations of any sort, especially food, are welcome, but most of all they’d like to invite the community to participate. For more information, e-mail the class secretary at [email protected].

Class of 2009

Juniors are currently in need of construction supplies, such as PVC pipe and wood. For information, call (760) 419-3311.

Class of 2010

Sophomores are cruising along, still looking for a float frame. They are currently in need of tools and construction expertise. For more information, e-mail [email protected].

Class of 2011

Freshmen are working hard to build their first float. They’re still in need of a frame and a site to build the float.

For more information, e-mail the class secretary at [email protected].

Community support is always welcome and so necessary for the completion of floats. Supervision, food and helpers are always needed.

The students wish to thank Fallbrook Printing for already helping by cutting tissue paper.

For more information on the floats, contact the ASB director at (760) 723-6300, ext. 3501.
