Filmmakers Workshops offered

For those who have a love of films and filmmaking, the Fallbrook Film Factory presents Filmmakers Workshops. The workshops have a wide range of interest, from how to write a screenplay to history of early silent films to a workshop for kids to share their filmmaking ideas.

Held at the Art Campus, the workshops are a 10-week series to benefit emerging filmmakers. September 19 will kick off the series with “The Early History of Filmmaking” from 6 to 7 p.m.

Idea workshops held at Caffé Primo every other Wednesday from 5 to 6 p.m. are a casual get-together to talk about ideas in filmmaking. They are free to all.

The Fallbrook Film Factory is a nonprofit organization that supports the film community in Fallbrook and the surrounding areas. Their goal is to help Fallbrook become a filmmaking center for the region and further support of all the arts.

For workshop cost, full schedule and more information, call Janie Chesney at (760) 723-8916.
