Coyote Country Poker Run September 29

The Coyote Country chapter of the Ninety-Nines, an international organization of women pilots, is again sponsoring a Poker Run. This year, it is scheduled for Saturday, September 29, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, September 30, is the back-up date.

The Poker Run attracts pilots from the San Diego area, the Inland Empire and the Los Angeles basin. Proceeds from this popular event are used to support women planning careers in aviation.

Participating airports are Fallbrook, Ramona, Gillespie Field, Hemet, French Valley and Oceanside. Participating pilots can start at any airport and finish at French Valley, checking in no later than 2:30 p.m. To be eligible for Best Poker Hand prizes, planes must land at five of the airports. There will also be a silent auction.
