Community swap meet Sept. 29

The Fallbrook Community Center’s September swap meet is where one person’s trash can become another person’s treasure. Locals are invited to clean out their closets, garages and basements and bring their unearthed items to the Community Center on Saturday, September 29.

The auditorium and front lawn will host more than 50 spacious vendor areas. Interested participants can register by calling (760) 728-1671 or visiting the center at 341 Heald Lane.

Event participants may select their selling locations and booth space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. All vendors are required to pre-register and obtain a resale permit number. Free resale permit numbers can be secured by calling 1-800-400-7115 or visiting http://www.boe.ca.gov.

Event setup will begin at 6:30 a.m. and shopping will be available from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Shoppers can also enjoy reasonably priced refreshments from the snack bar.
