Rainbow Oaks Faire holds grand opening

Rainbow Oaks Country Square proudly announces the grand opening weekend of the Rainbow Oaks Antique, Art, Craft and Flower Faire on Saturday, September 15, and Sunday, September 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. The faire is being held on weekends all year-round on a grassy common area under the 100-year-old oak trees located at the corner of Highway 395 and 5th Street in Rainbow.

The entire property is a “true journey back to a simpler, quieter and easier time.” Rainbow Oaks features a wonderful old-time market and produce stand (now run by Tommy and Becky Bevell, whose stand was previously located on Highway 79), country restaurant and California’s largest primitive antique dealer, Silverado Trading Post, as well as the Longbranch Antique Co. (which moved from Old Town Temecula).

The grand opening events will include Rainbow’s own volunteer fire department exhibiting current firefighting equipment, the American Red Cross conducting a blood drive and the Murrieta Humane Society having a pet adoption. Visitors will also find vendors holding special events and drawings for prizes, great live entertainment, terrific food, ice cream and treats for the family, a Hot Salsa Contest and special children’s games, prizes and events.
