Clean up after your dogs

Poo poo, poo poo

Where might you be?

Why, I’m at Los Jilgueros Preserve

Left by doggies you see.

Owners so negligent

That they ignore the problem

Not taking care of what comes out

Of their doggies’ bottoms

Must be pounds of poo

Collective in volume

This plight, not light,

Will cause a great problem.

Contaminated waters,

Paths strewn with poo,

Should be cause for concern

For this great refuge.

So grab a bag

The next time you walk

And don’t just ignore

Where your dog squats.

If I’ve offended anyone

With these lines of wit,

Hey, it is what it is

A lot of… poo!
