Rally Royale to raise funds for children

Anyone feeling lucky can join Rally for Children for a casino night at Vista Valley Country Club on October 13 from 6 to 10 p.m.

This year’s annual fundraiser, “Rally Royale ’007,” is a James Bond-themed event with professional casino company dealers manning the tables. Games will include blackjack and craps tables, two specialty poker tables (Texas Hold ’Em) and a roulette wheel for a fun evening benefiting the Rally charity.

Casino prizes are a Laughlin vacation for two, Del Mar racetrack passes for four and a Ritz Carlton package.

Guests can come garbed in dressy casual clothes or get in the mood as a James Bond character. Dining will be “by the bite” with culinary international favorites befitting the “007” movie locations. Raffle tickets will go out with the invitations for cash prizes of $1,000, $500 and $250.

Also new this year is a Web site auction with fabulous items to purchase. Anyone can go online now until October 19 at http://www.rallyforchildren.cmarket.com and bid on some fantastic items.

Rally for Children has only one fundraiser per year and its success determines how many community programs will benefit from the organization’s support. In partnership with the Fallbrook Union Elementary School District, Rally sponsors, organizes and supervises “Arts in the Park,” which allows children to participate in a day of crafts, painting, music, clay, drama and dance at no charge.
