Galaxy to host FYSL Oct. 13

The Los Angeles Galaxy will welcome Fallbrook Youth Soccer League (FYSL/FURY) Saturday, October 13, at 7:30 p.m. All are invited to see an exciting game as the Galaxy takes on the Toronto FC at Home Depot Center, located on the California State University, Dominguez Hills campus in Carson.

FYSL/FURY players will give the Galaxy players high-fives as they enter the field and attend an after-game photo and autograph session with the Galaxy.

Limited sideline and grass area seats are available. For more information, visit http://www.fallbrookyouthsoccer.com or contact Paul Mattson at (760) 586-4099 or [email protected]. Seating is first-come, first-served and must be reserved by September 23.

FYSL would like to thank Dr. Edwin Farnworth, PhD, for without his help LA Galaxy Night would not have been possible.

Dr. Farnworth is one of FYSL’s newest U10 coaches but is not new to soccer. He has coached for the last 17 consecutive years at every level from recreational to club along with being on the coaching staff at several middle schools, high schools, colleges (UCLA) and the Galaxy.

He holds a PhD in child psychology and has several separate certifications in areas such as anger management/conflict resolution, sports psychology, speech and language pathology.

As the founder/president of the California Academic/Athletic Mentoring Program (CAMP), Dr. Farnworth has established “CAMP sites” at several schools. He is on staff at Rancho Physical Therapy as a child psychologist and hopes to meet as many people as possible in Fallbrook and become a productive member of the community.
