Second dwelling unit approved for Lancewood Way

The county’s Zoning Administrator approved a Minor Use Permit to build a second dwelling unit on a property in the 3600 block of Lancewood Way.

Zoning Administrator Rose Garduno’s August 21 decision approved construction of a dwelling unit totaling 1,275 square feet along with a 480-square-foot attached garage and a 264-square-foot covered patio. The existing single-family residence owned by Terence and Aileen Erard totals 2,810 square feet, not including a 678-square-foot attached three-car garage.

A private driveway which connects both to the primary dwelling unit and to Lancewood Way will serve the additional home. The second dwelling unit will be constructed on an existing graded pad and will match the architectural design, materials, and color of the primary house.
