Local business makes design dreams come true

The client of this kitchen sought out president/designer Jennifer Jones of DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen of Fallbrook to help design and build her dream kitchen.

“The process is always meant to be fun and well thought out,” says Jones.

The client’s home was traditional and she wanted to stay within that style yet add a bit of fun to the design. This was accomplished with the addition of a custom handmade tile backsplash, doing a different pattern than the usual frame above the range. The cabinets have a beautiful matte finish that gives the room a richer, fuller feel.

DreamMaker added a bar where the pantry used to be for a larger entertaining area. “Having niches in a kitchen or an adjoining room really adds to the square footage of a home without having to build out,” says Jones. “That way, you maximize your space.”

The fireplace surround was redone in the sea grass limestone also found on the countertops. The cabinets that frame the fireplace have matching speaker cloth to let the electronic equipment breathe while being stored out of sight.

In the homeowner’s opinion, the best feature of all is the beautiful coffered ceiling that DreamMaker built to mask the unsightly beam that cut off the room.

DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen can be found at the corner of Main Avenue and Beech Street (433 South Main) and can be reached by phone at (760) 728-8600.
