National Health Care Reform and the race for the presidency will be the topic of the October 4 general meeting of the Fallbrook Democratic Club.
A recent national poll showed that health care reform is second only to the Iraq War in voter concern.
A brief business meeting and report on the rapid growth of the Democratic Party in San Diego County will be followed by a special screening of “Sicko,” the scathing documentary on the US health care system by controversial and award-winning filmmaker Michael Moore.
A discussion period will follow to explore ways in which individual voters may directly influence national health care policy.
The meeting, open to all, will be held Thursday, October 4, at 7 p.m. in the Fallbrook Public Utilities District board room, 990 East Mission Road.
