Free dementia lecture series for seniors

ESCONDIDO — A lecture series titled, “Medication Therapy for Dementia Residents” is being held Thursday, September 27, 2007 from 4 to 6 pm at the Las Villas del Norte Retirement Community.

This free lecture will feature speaker Dr. Ron Belville, a Pharmacist, who will discuss the most common drugs prescribed to dementia residents, effectiveness and side effects, preview of drugs being researched, and safe practices for managing medications for quality of life.

The free lecture will offer appetizers and refreshments served directly following the presentation.

The free dementia lecture series will take place at Las Villas del Norte Retirement Community in the Norte Villas Dining Room at 1325 Las Villas Way in Escondido.
