Teen Programs

Teen Calligraphy Class. Sylver Kinsella teaches participants how to write beautifully. Sign up at the Reference Desk. Wednesday, October 17, 4-5 p.m.

Teen Game Night. Play chess or checkers at the library. Wednesday, October 24, 4-6 p.m.

Teen Face Painting. Lead by Bob Hendricks. Tuesday, October 30, 4-5 p.m.

Children’s Programs

Paper Plate Jack-o’-Lantern Craft. Tuesday, October 2, 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.

• Preschool Storytime. (Ages 3-5). Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m.

• October 3: “Newest of the New” with Miss Sylvia

• October 10: “Fall Treasures” with Miss Rosemarie

• October 17: “Stranger Danger” with Detective McGruff

• October 24: “Creepy Crawlies” with Miss Lucy

• October 31: “Not So Scary Halloween” with Miss Tina (come in costume)

Coloring Table. Saturdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Grandparents and Books. Read a story with Grandpa Larry. Tuesdays, Beginning October 23, 10:30-noon

Paws to Read. Children read to dogs to gain confidence reading aloud. Sign up at the reference desk. Thursday, October 11, 4:30-5:30 p.m. (Fourth Thursdays)

Programs for Adults

Computer Assistance. Individual instruction; contact the branch to arrange an appointment. Thursdays, 9-10 a.m.

Adult Writing Group. Irene Hendricks facilitates creative writing exercises. Sign up at the reference desk. Thursdays, October 4 & 18, 6-6:45 p.m.

Adult Book Discussion Group. At Fallbrook Public Utility District, 990 E. Mission Road. Moderator: Lynette Wood, (760) 723-1354. Northanger Abbey, by Jane Austen. Thursday, October 11, 1:30-2:30 p.m.
