FFA off to strong start

The Fallbrook Ag Department is warming up to another year of hard work and fun! Football is in season and we all know what that means – tri-tip barbecues! The next barbecue will be Friday, Oct. 5, in the Ag Department, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Come and support Fallbrook football and Fallbrook FFA!

It looks like animal season is kicking off! On Saturday, Oct. 6, we will be getting two steer projects in the barns – the sweet smell of hard work and fun!

On Sept. 26 the Fallbrook Chapter competed in the Chapter Challenge, put on by the San Diego Section officers. It was held in San Marcos. Fallbrook had 60 members compete. It was a great experience, to get the new and old members pumped up for this year!

For the past few weeks the Fallbrook Opening and Closing Advanced team and Novice team A and team B have been practicing for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies Contest, held on Wednesday, Oct. 3. Placing is soon to be announced! Go Warriors!
