Supervisors adjourn meeting in memory of Marty Hauck

The San Diego County Board of Supervisors adjourned their September 25 meeting in memory of Fallbrook High School teacher and athletic coach Marty Hauck.

“Marty Hauck’s life was dedicated to showing and keeping young people on the right path,” said Supervisor Bill Horn, who read the adjournment in memory. “That went way beyond any athletic competition. Marty specialized in lessons for life.”

Hauck, who was 53, died September 19 from a heart attack shortly after finishing a run during the cross-country team’s practice.
