Teen Read Week features calligraphy, face painting

FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook Library will offer several programs in October to celebrate Teen Read Week.

Calligrapher Sylver Kinsella will teach a class on fancy lettering on Wednesday, October 17, from 4 to 5 p.m. The class will cover special lettering techniques which could be used to decorate invitations, scrapbooks and school reports. Class recommended for grades six to adult. All materials will be provided by the teacher.

Wednesday, October 24, from 4 to 5 p.m. will be teen game night at the library. Chess and checkers will be available to all interested players.

On Tuesday, October 30, artist Bob Hendricks will offer free face painting at the library from 4 to 5 p.m. Hendricks has painted faces at Balboa Park, the county fair and other venues throughout the county.
