Metten named director of Women's Resource Center

FALLBROOK — Tracee Metten has been named the new director of the Fallbrook Women’s Resource Center. Formerly a volunteer with the organization, Metten is said to possess a real passion for this ministry.

The Fallbrook Women’s Resource Center is a Christian, pro-life, 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization with the mission of caring for women with unplanned pregnancies by meeting their physical, emotional and spiritual needs, enabling them to choose life.

Services include free pregnancy tests, peer counseling and education on abstinence, sexually transmitted diseases, parenting, abortion alternatives and post-abortion healing.

Individuals and businesses donate funds and materials that make it possible for the organization to assist mothers and babies with basic needs such as maternity clothes, diapers, baby clothes and other supplies.

The center’s hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. A limited number of after-hour appointments are also available. The office is located at 1075 South Mission Road, Suite J. For more information, call (760) 728-4105.
