Alvin Ray Stinson

Alvin Ray Stinson, 92, passed away October 12, 2007, at Tri-City Medical Center, Oceanside, CA. Born September 7, 1915, in Chester, OK, he was a resident of Fallbrook for 60 years.

A high school graduate, Mr. Stinson was a heavy equipment operator for San Diego County for 25 years as well as an antiques and collectables dealer. He always had a twinkle in his eye and many jokes to tell. He was well loved by all who knew him.

Mr. Stinson was preceded in death by his parents, Silas and Effie Stinson; brothers Floyd, Sam, Urban and Glenn; and sister Hazel. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Elaine Stinson, Fallbrook; sons Allen Stinson, Nevada City, CA, and Stephen Stinson, Poway, CA; daughter Carroll Nunn, Oklahoma; and five grandchildren.

A graveside service was held October 17, 2007, at Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery.
