“Getting out the Vote” will be the special topic at the November 1 meeting of the Fallbrook Democratic Club. Local election experts Betty Ball and former Congressional candidate Francine Busby will

explain precinct organization and the voting process, as well as the

crucial role played by volunteer election monitors to help ensure

an accurate vote count. The Emmy - nominated HBO documentary “HackingDemocracy’ will be shown, exposing holes in the security of

our electronic voting system. Attendees are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys or nonperishable foods for the club’s annual giving program, to be donated to local charities in time for Christmas.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Fallbrook Public Utility

District board room, 990 East Mission. For information, call Bob

Hamilton at (760) 731-2195.
