Health problems are results of policies promoted

Concerns about Bush’s veto of the Democrat Congress’ proposal to more than double SCHIP funding is just one more disingenuous political ploy on the part of Democrats. The left portrays the veto as a lack of concern for the health of America’s children, knowing most

Americans will react emotionally. Many don’t know this is a 10-year old program that, according to Wikipedia, has resulted in families canceling their private insurance to take advantage of the more

generous benefits of the current SCHIP program. It hardly seems reasonable to expand the benefits to include even higher income

families than those that already qualify. If Democrats really cared

about the health of America’s children they could make a huge contribution by discontinuing their support for groups that are actively

and aggressively sexualizing our children at younger and younger

ages. Emotional and physical consequences of promiscuous, pre-marital sex are devastating and often irreversible. Science has shown children are not physiologically able to make adult decisions until they are 21 years old and yet our culture, which denigrates sex as no more than an appetite to be satisfied, begins to manipulate

their thoughts regarding sex as early as the primary grades in school (see California SB777)! The results are an explosion of STDs, infertility, abortion, out-of-wedlock births, suicide and AIDS. These health problems are the result of policies promoted by some of the left’s best supporters – Planned Parenthood, the entertainment industry and homosexual activists. Until the left turns its back on the money from these purveyors of child health risks, we would be foolish to take their concerns for our children’s health seriously.

Additionally, though there may be millions of Americans without health insurance, anyone can get quality healthcare in an emergency

room. Healthcare is essentially already socialized by the premium

insured patients pay to cover unbillable costs. With a national healthcare plan we’ll not only pay more but lose the option to manage our own care, and if you don’t think national healthcare could cost you your life, just Google “Canadian healthcare wait times.”
