Eric William Scott,

Eric William Scott, 71, a 35-year resident of Fallbrook, died at the home of friends in Vista, CA, on October 25, 2007, during the fire evacuation from Fallbrook.

Eric is survived by his wife of 23 days, Andrea Bo Conely Scott. Eric and Bo had been friends for more than 40 years.

Other surviving relatives include his brother, Clarence Wilbur Scott of Dolores, CO; daughter Jennifer Ehrhardt and son Eric Wimer of Virginia; and many, many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins who are all remembered with love.

The son of Clarence Wilbur and Sarah Mae Scott (nee Glime), Eric was born in Pennsylvania in 1936. He graduated from Van Nuys High School in 1954 and was one of the founders of The Jesters, a high school fraternity. He then attended Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo and was a founding father of the Delta Tau Fraternity in 1955.

Eric’s final resting place will be the Oakwood Cemetery in Chatsworth, CA. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 16, at 12:30 p.m.

Bo asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Elizabeth Hospice, 150 West Crest Street, Escondido, CA 92025.

Eric will be remembered most for the joy he brought into a room.
