Deadline for grant program nears

The application deadline for the Community Partnership for Local Government Programming Video Grant Program is Monday, November 19, at 5 p.m. Grant recipients will be announced and money awarded beginning in March.

The County of San Diego Board of Supervisors will award up to five $10,000 grants to help local nonprofit and community groups produce half-hour video programs which will be featured on CTN, the County Television Network.

Past grant-funded videos have focused on county disaster preparedness, volunteer search and rescue programs, exercise and health programs, responsible pet ownership and the environmental diversity of the San Diego region.
