Stuart and Wendt: a truly professional team

Willis Allen Realtor Jeanne Stuart and Broker Associate Realtor Bob Wendt make a phenomenal team, particularly when it comes to dealing with prestigious properties. The mere mention of Stuart’s name is synonymous with luxurious estates, ranches and groves. Wendt’s expertise lies within luxury home building, estates and residential income.

No matter what property this duo undertakes, Stuart says both she and Wendt are genuinely enthusiastic about every listing they have. “We don’t have anything that we are not enthusiastic about. It’s easy to sell something if you believe in it,” shared Stuart.

Wendt mentioned that he and Stuart share a common philosophy in real estate dealings, which includes professionalism, top-notch negotiating, marketing dexterity and honesty.

Stuart and Wendt became a team in the spring of 2004. “As a team, we can better serve our clients. It’s hard to split one person in half,” Stuart quipped.

With a background in interior design, before Stuart became a licensed Realtor in 1992, she was an image consultant. Though people repeatedly told her she should get involved in the real estate business, she was unable to, because at the time her home roots were temporary. “I was married to a corporate gypsy and moved every two years,” she said, smiling.

Years ago, when Wendt finished his tour of active duty with the Navy, he said he was looking for two things: either a job in the building and/or real estate industry or flying. At that time, flying jobs were limited, so he became a licensed real estate broker. After seven years in the real estate business, he became a commercial pilot.

A few years ago, Wendt retired as a captain from Alaska Airlines and decided to become a full-time real estate broker. Although there was a gap between both careers, he remained semi-active in real estate. “In between, I was still doing real estate because I was doing some building,” said Wendt.

The airline business cuts pilots off at the age of 60 but Wendt said he wasn’t ready to retire just yet. In fact, he finds the real estate industry an enjoyable challenge.

“It keeps me out of trouble and out of the house,” he said, laughing. He admits his favorite part of the business is the negotiation aspect.

Stuart loves her job. In fact, when asked by a friend if she’d still be an agent if she won the lottery, Stuart chimed an emphatic “Yes!” and added, “I might not work as hard, but I’m never going to retire.”

It was Stuart who was instrumental in bringing a Willis Allen Real Estate office to Fallbrook. After approaching Andrew Nelson, the owner of Willis Allen Real Estate, he agreed that an office in North County was a superb idea.

Stuart and Wendt are eternally grateful for each and every real estate transaction that they have had. “We’ve been blessed with all our buyers and sellers,” they agreed.
