The Re/Max United mother and daughter team of Jean Ellen Gahner and Ronna Ransbury has all the signs of being a remarkable duo in the real estate industry. Two years ago, when Ransbury joined her mother in the business, ‘Team Jean Ellen’ was born.

Gahner says she was thoroughly excited when her daughter joined her, because she believes Ransbury has the qualities that comprise an impeccable Realtor.

“She is friendly, tech-savvy, reliable, trustworthy and honest,” said Gahner, a proud mother. In addition, Ransbury has had 15 years of experience in the customer service industry, which is essential in any business, including real estate.

The key focus this duo has in common is they care about their clients and the individuals who give the team leads and referrals.

“We are building our business on referrals; we want referrals and repeat business, so we take excellent care of our clients,” said Ransbury. Doing a superb job for their clientele means everything to them and they take pride in the customer service they provide.

Gahner and Ransbury make it a special point to stay in touch with clients after the transaction is finished.

“We are there for a lifetime,” said Gahner. This committed mother and daughter team just doesn’t complete a transaction then disappear. They keep in contact with their clients, always letting them know they are only a phone call or e-mail away if ever needed.

“We want to be their Realtors for life,” said Gahner.

Personal referrals have enabled them to work with nice people.

“We have been blessed; we have wonderful clients,” they agreed. Gahner and Ransbury have instituted a referral program named the Client Appreciation Program (CAP). This program has had wonderful feedback.

To become part of CAP, an individual only needs to be interested in providing future business referrals to Gahner and Ransbury. Before an official referral is made, the individuals receive fun, informative literature at their residence. “It usually has to do with homes, but it could be on best vacation spots or even mechanics,” said Gahner.

When a referral is made, the member is graduated to an ‘A+’ CAP membership, regardless of whether or not an escrow has closed.

“Now you’ve become someone extra special,” said Ransbury. “We take extra good care of our A+ referral people.” This extra attention and care may include small gifts, trinkets or a lunch outing. There is always a special surprise waiting for an A+ person, they said.

In addition to being exceptional agents who know their industry well, Re/Max provides the duo with valuable ongoing education.

“Re/Max professionals are the best trained agents in the world,” said Gahner.

The mother and daughter team of Team Jean Ellen enjoy the personal connection they have with their clients and members of their CAP Program.
