Rotary invites applications for funding

FALLBROOK — The members of The Rotary Club of Fallbrook are preparing to disperse their charitable funds for 2007 to local nonprofit organizations and agencies that are making the community a better place to live.

These charitable funds come from the proceeds of the club’s annual “Lobster On the Green” fundraiser held each fall and donations from members of Fallbrook Rotary throughout the year.

The club’s focus for dispersing charitable funds last year was:

• To promote a healthy and rich community life for children and seniors

• To promote a healthy and rich community life for less fortunate citizens

• To promote the community’s efforts to enrich our culture through activities that support beautification, music and the arts

If a nonprofit organization is interested in being considered for charitable funding, they are asked to submit a letter requesting a specific amount of money for a specific reason by December 7 to: Rotary Club of Fallbrook, c/o Betsey Levering, PO Box 1, Fallbrook, CA 92088.
