Albertsons supports fire victims

As representatives of Christ the King Lutheran Church, we would like to publicly thank Albertsons of Fallbrook and Samaritan’s Purse for their efforts in helping the community after the recent wildfires.

Albertsons Store Manager Kim Newman and Assistant Store Manager Tim Cooley provided a generous donation of food and drink including water, Powerade, cookies and peanut butter and jelly.

Also helping to locate and secure the donated items at the store were Vicki Medcalf and Diana Lee. Through their effort and contributions, we prepared 125 lunch bags for the many volunteers of Samaritan’s Purse who have been here helping the clean-up efforts that aid the many people who lost their homes.

We all feel blessed to have such caring people working for corporations that are willing to reach out to those needing help in our community. Again, many thanks!
