Rainbow market is weekend treat

I would like to take the time to tell locals about the Rainbow Oaks Year-Round Weekend Market. I’m sure that if you all knew what a gem this place is, you would be there in a Fallbrook minute!

It’s a perfect place to spend a couple of hours browsing the booths and digging through all the antique goodies for sale there and getting some veggies at the country market. And there is an awesome tri-tip lunch to be had, with homemade beans and such!

The oak trees there are so old and big they will give you goosebumps! The folk who work there are nice and friendly. It is never very crowded and the atmosphere is pure ‘old town.’

You are truly in for a treat when you go see this little gem that is right in our backyard! It’s easy to pass right by as it is set down below the freeway between Rainbow and Mission (look for the hot air balloon sign popping up over the freeway), but don’t! It is worth the time to stop. I did and all I can say is I wish I had done it sooner!
