New hours for local assistance centers

The county-operated local assistance center revised its hours of operation beginning November 19 because the number of residents seeking county services has declined.

The assistance centers (including the one at the Fallbrook Community Center) now have the following hours: Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., closed Sunday.

Residents can continue to access recovery information by calling 2-1-1 or by visiting the county’s Firestorm Recovery Web site at http://www.sdcountyrecovery.com.
