Potter is hip-hopping

The Potter Junior High (PJH) annual Talent Show is November 29 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thirteen acts featuring talented students from PJH will be performing hip-hop dancing, guitar and drum solos and songs from pop charts and Broadway musicals.

Leadership would like to thank prize sponsors JJ’s Board Shop on Main in Fallbrook, who provided a gift certificate, and Active Surf, Skate, Snow in Escondido, who provided skate gear.

The PJH Canned Food Drive is kicking off the last week of November and will benefit local families as well as an orphanage. Cans can be sent to school with any Potter student or dropped off in the main office.

PJH will also host a Scholastic Book Fair in the school library from Tuesday, November 27, through Monday, December 3. The book fair will be open before school and at lunchtime, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., each of those days.
