Firemen never gave up

Children should not resent firemen if by chance their family home burned despite fire department efforts.

The firestorm was an extremely difficult and dangerous time for firefighters, National Guard and San Diego citizens, especially for the citizens whose homes were destroyed.

The firefighters did the best that they could do. Yet the losses occurred and touched people deeply to the core. People placed a lot of faith and hope in the firefighters; they relied on the firefighters to do what they could not do themselves – save their homes from destruction by fire.

Speaking for myself, who did not lose my home by fire, I feel that others will agree, whether you’ve lost a home or not, that we deeply thank all firefighters for their great service in standing in the face of the firestorm.

Firefighters are so invaluable and cannot be thanked enough for their hard work, tenacious bravery and obvious loyalty to their responsibilities to rescue and meet emergency.

People placed all their faith in the firefighters and prayed for them. Thank you again and again to firefighters. They never gave up the fight.

Schoolchildren should not resent firefighters if their family home was not able to be saved. Their parents can teach them to be thankful for the homes that were saved, and forgive God.
