Opera gala to benefit Valley Oaks fire victims

FALLBROOK — An opera gala will be held Saturday, December 29, at 7:30 p.m. to benefit fire victims whose homes were in Valley Oaks Mobile Home Community.

The black-tie event will be held at the Bob Burton Center for the Performing Arts at Fallbrook High School. Doors will open at 7 p.m. so that attendees may view raffle and silent auction items available.

Fallbrook’s own Sasha La Russo and additional San Diego Opera Chorus members will be performing, accompanied by pianist John Danke.

A “meet and greet” is planned following the concert. Photos may be taken at that time but not during the concert.

Light refreshments will be available for purchase during intermission.

Tickets are $25 for general admission with a limited number of $40 tickets available for Gold Circle seating. Tickets may be purchased at the C.A.S.T. office, 200 N. Main Street, Fallbrook. For ticket information call (760) 731-2278.

Those unable to attend the concert but interesting in donating to the fund, checks may be made to “Valley Oaks Opera Benefit” and mailed c/o Rhonda Reinke, 2114 Vista Valle Verde, Fallbrook, CA 92028.

Funds raised will be handled through an account at Pacific Western Bank in Fallbrook.
